Are you a UFO Cult Leader? omg... :)

Hello friends, I read the article below, and laughed...out loud, no seriously...out loud! When you read it, you will understand! You will find my comments in green!!!

I also wrote a bit at the bottom of this article...after my humorous reaction to this article wore off.

Today, most of these UFO “cult leaders” as we call them, are contactees or abductees. They have no biblical paradigm to work with for what’s going on, so they believe whatever these beings tell them. 500 years ago, little people with big black eyes that spirited people away to caves, poked them with magic wands and had lewd sex were called elves and fairies. 1000s of years ago they were mermaids and sea gods. Well, now we’re a technological society, so they’re telling us they’re extra-terrestrials flying here in their spaceships.

The people who have contact these beings however, almost universally become New Age acolytes,  and they’ll eventually either join a “UFO cult” or they’ll start one. Much of the church does a pretty poor job at relating to these people though, as many churches are not equipped (yet) to really give these millions of experiencers an answer to what’s happening to them. Some tend to just write them off as crazy. One of the things I’m kind of infamous for saying is that if you walked into a church and told a pastor you were abducted by aliens and you wanted help, 95% of them would probably refer you to a psychiatrist before they would refer you to Jesus Christ or the Bible for your healing.

(An acolyte is anyone who performs ceremonial duties such as lighting altar candles. The term is used for one who has been inducted into a particular liturgical ministry, even when not performing those duties.)  WHAT???

But then they meet some New Ager or a “cult leader” … THEY tell them “Hey we’ve got a group of people just like you… why don’t you come to our meeting… why don’t you tell us your story… if you’re really good at it, we’ll put you on the speaker circuit and you can write a book.” I’m obviously being sarcastic, but that’s the way it goes. These are people with real experiences and really tough questions, who much of the church sadly has a tendency to write off, but they go to these other groups and they find acceptance, they find community, and they even find a purpose, or a mission in becoming “ambassadors” for the aliens.

Holy Crap...I had no idea I was a Cult Leader, did you? This fella says, there are people with real experiencers who have really tough questions....but these same people go to these UFO groups and they find acceptance, they find community, and they even find a purpose, or a mission in becoming “ambassadors” for the aliens.

You can read online the primary doctrines of the The Raelian ReligionThe Nibiruan CouncilThe Urantia FoundationHeaven’s Gate, and they all say close to the same thing, they just usually disagree about where “their aliens” actually come from. But most say that the aliens really created humans, they’ve been advancing our technology over the centuries, they sent us “leaders” like Moses, Buddha, and Jesus, AND whoever the top dog in their group happens to be! This person is usually also the aliens “final prophet.” They say that the aliens are here to help us. Most will use the Bible to support their claims. They just re-interpret it as one big UFO story where God is really just an advanced alien from another planet. The Mormons even say this, and they call themselves Christians. Most UFO cults identify themselves with Christianity in some way also, they’re just very hostile to the doctrines of the Bible, and especially to Christians who haven’t come into “their knowledge.”

While I’ve clearly said this situation is in part the church’s fault – for not addressing this exploding trend from a sound biblical perspective – however, individuals also make choices to reject God for other reasons too. When you ask “what’s behind the UFO cults” the quick answer is found in 1 Timothy Chapter 4, which says that in the latter days, people will abandon the Christian faith “…giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.”

People today are in UFO cults because they are following the doctrines of these fallen angels we’re talking about. The bottom line is, they’re worshipping false gods. I don’t think they’re generally crazy though, they’re just in contact with entities the Bible warns about – for those who will read it anyway.

Although I don't like being thought of a nuts, I can find humor in the shallow-closed  mindedness of people who just don't understand that the extraterrestrial presence is real.

I am not a Cult Leader, nor is my husband Stan ...though we have been accused of that exactly that in the past. A core group of friends who love and support you through your experiences, does not a cult make! :)  It has also been said that we are Zionists, Scientologists, Hoaxers, Liars and so on and so on.  I had to look up what zionism and scientology was...and, ummm I just don't get it!!! Hoaxer and liar, I understand very well, and those labels simply piss me off. I say this, unless you walk a week in my slippers, do not assume to know me, do not tell me that what I have seen with my own eyes isn't real or true! There is one thing I detest more than anything, and that is a liar! Ok, so internet TROLLS come in a close second... :)

For me the belief in Extraterrestrial life is a belief that I have had since childhood. As a child it was simply a hope if you will, that we are not alone in this vast universe. Now, it is a knowing, simply because I have experienced it for myself. Seeing is believing...but, believing allows seeing.  Does that make me crazy? Of course not. Does my belief make me a godless heathen? Nope! I don't believe in the fear based, monetized control mechanism that organized religion has become.  I am a spiritual christian,  and like many I who struggle to understand that WE MUST BELIEVE in a CREATOR who is an unseen presence in the heavens, but WE ARE NOT TO BELIEVE in EXTRATERRESTRIALS who also reside in the heavens.

It is my belief that God, the creator...created all life in the heavens and on earth.

I leave you with this thought...from another contactee, “Emotions are the clues and Love is the key.”

  1. Lisa, I loved your comments here. I feel closer to God now tha ever before in my life when I was a devout member of Christian Church's, the honest fact is the most of the Christians do not even know their bible, have never sat down with or often ever heard of the Abingdon Strongs Exhaustive Bible Concordance looking up words like "Heaven" which literally translated means "the sky" and not some dimensional place of floating around on clouds playing harps like many believe. The sad truth is if these peopke would actually read their "book" (bible translated means - the book), with a good concordance abd look up these words abd their meanings as I have some in my own studies of the Christian Bible, they would very likely do as I have and leave the church seeking a closer relationship with God. Christ said his flock was a scattered flock in the end times, this does not in any way refer to modern church or it's disciples, it is those of us that have truly opened our eyes and "see" the truth but, yes, it is "BELIEF" that first allows one to see. It creates quite the paradox for those entrapped by modern theology because they can't believe something they are told by the elders of their particular church not to believe but, that us exactly what is required, a leap of faith that there is more to the universe than the limited view presented at the pulpit. No, we are not the cult, or the crazy ones worshipping false idols, we are indeed a light unto the world, and with each experience we testify to the truth as God has revealed it unto us. When in times of doubt remember, they laughed at Noah, they scorned so many true believers and these same crucified Christ for teaching the truth. May the blessings be.
