Project Spaceship Escape

http://spaceshipescape2012.weebly.com/index.html

I ran across this on Twitter and felt the need to help these folks spread the word. I'm not sure if this is a test to see how many people will register, or what. Perhaps this is a serious request??? Apparently a spacecraft has been designed to hold 50, 000 occupants, and already nearly 15, 000 have registered for seats on the craft to escape the planet, sometime this year.

WHAT?

I am not going to judge, but this sounds like a very dangerous plan. All I can say, is ... Good luck, and safe flight.

Project Spaceship Escape is an Australian initiative to design a spacecraft which will depart earth's surface the day before the end of the world, the 20th December 2012. The spacecraft will be designed to support life indefinitely or until the spacecraft reaches an inhabitable planet.
This website has been created purely to register you and your family and friends interest, regardless of where in the world you currently reside.
The number of required seats will be determined by the amount of intrest shown through this website.

So far we have around 13,500 applicants from Australia interested, and we are now extending the offer worldwide.

Ticket prices will be determined after we have a better understanding of numbers. The Spacecraft has been designed to house a maximum of 50,000 passengers.

So, if your life and the people you love are important to you, register your interest here today.

  3. Expect to see a lot more of this nonsense as we approach year end and even beyond then as ecocrisis gets worse.

Irony is, there may be such craft. But who is running them and what would happen next?

  4. The ship looks like a Ferrari with some extra stuff and guns. Think I'll rather stay home. You'll never know where they will end up...
